Consistent with the Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91, the vision for the Computerized Motion Analysis laboratory is to establish the laboratory as a self-sustained facility of national and international status and recognition for its contributions to motion-analysis-related pediatric and adult service and research aspiring to promote the health and quality of life for its target populations.

Consistent with the Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91, the mission of the Motion Analysis Center is to provide a high-quality environment that seeks, through continuous quality improvement, to achieve the highest levels of excellence in:

  1. facilitating the delivery of motion analysis related service to our target populations;
  2. integrated multidisciplinary motion analysis research with focus on translation from the understanding of causes, to intervention decisions, to community functioning and prevention; and
  3. enhancing the motion analysis related knowledge and educational experiences of current and future health care and health care related professionals, for the purpose of promoting the health and quality of life across the lifespan of the target populations with movement disorders and challenges.
