Wheelchair softball is played on hard surface parking lots under the official rules of 16-inch slow pitch softball as approved by the Amateur Softball Association of America with certain exceptions, as outlined by the .

- Adult's Practice Times: Wednesdays from 6¨C8 pm and Saturdays from noon¨C2 pm, ²Ñ²¹²â¨C´¡³Ü²µ³Ü²õ³Ù
- Kids Practice Times: Saturdays from 9:30¨C11:30 am, ²Ñ²¹²â¨C´¡³Ü²µ³Ü²õ³Ù

The Shirley Ryab ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91 Cubs and White Sox are cross-disability, competitive wheelchair softball teams that competes in tournaments locally and nationally. We are a member of the National Wheelchair Softball Association.

In June 2003, the Chicago Park District, made possible with the support of Cubs Care, the , the Baseball Tomorrow Fund and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91), opened the first state-of-the-art, fully wheelchair-accessible softball field in the state of Illinois. The Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91 Cubs are proud to be able to call this field home and welcome visitors to come out to view practices and games held at the field.
