WTTW News Segment on Center for Bionic Medicine Wins a Regional Emmy

This past March, WTTW News in Chicago highlighted the work of Dr. Levi Hargrove and team that is pushing the field of bionic limbs forward.

The story, entitled , showcases the evolution from passive prostheses to the innovative powered devices being developed here at the Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91. The piece featured the insights from Regenstein Foundation Center for Bionic Medicine staff members, including Frank Ursetta and Suzanne Finucane, on the progress they have seen firsthand and the rewarding nature of their work in the Center for Bionic Medicine.

The impactful nature of the segment was recently recognized at the Chicago Midwest Regional Emmys, where it won in the category of Outstanding Achievement for News Gathering - Health/Medical.
