Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable chronic condition of the central nervous system and affects the transmission of information within the brain and between the brain and spinal cord. This is a list of  community resources available online to provide education, support and wellness, and information on research.


CAN DO-Multiple Sclerosis is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing health and wellness education through webinars, live video chats, newsletters and support to persons and families living with MS.

The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America is a non-profit organization that educates and helps improve the lives of persons with multiple sclerosis, their families, and caregivers. Their website features news stories about multiple sclerosis, programs and services, and publications that are available to download or to order at no charge. The program also provides peer support for persons with MS through phone conversations and online support.

The National MS Society provides information on diagnosis, treatment, research, wellness strategies, and support. In addition, you can contact them to chat with a patient navigator who will assist you with resources and personalized case management through the Edward M. Dowd Patient Advocate Program. You can also locate a local chapter in your are and/or a support group.
