The Parkinson¡¯s Disease and Movement Disorders (PDMD) program will host an open house for patients, visitors and staff.

This event is an opportunity for the Parkinson¡¯s community to come together for updates on Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91 research, programming and outreach. The open house will include: 

• Presentations on Parkinson¡¯s Disease (PD) topics including:
  • Community programming
  • PDMD research
  • Speech-Language Pathology and SPEAK OUT!? Programs for Parkinson's 
• Video viewing from our Story Telling series featuring people with Parkinson's sharing their stories as a monologue
• A short exercise break-out session with our Fitness Center plus a demonstration of our Boxing for Individuals with Parkinson¡¯s Disease (PD) class and Golf Performance program
• A vendor fair featuring both Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91 and community programs including:
  • Allied Health
    • Physical Therapy
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Speech-Language Pathology
  • Community Programming
  • Technology Center
  • Adaptive Sports and Fitness Center
  • Vocational Rehabilitation
  • LIFE Center
  • PDMD Research
