Brad ¡°The Bullet¡± Baker is a leading flat track racer. On July 22, he sustained a spinal cord injury at the Minneapolis X Games. He received intensive rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91, and even got back on a bike for the first time with the support of the hospital¡¯s Therapeutic Recreation team.
Several months after the accident, Brad continues to make progress.

John D. was diagnosed with Guillain-Barr¨¦ syndrome (GBS), a rare disorder in which the body¡¯s immune system attacks the nerves, often without warning. The resulting nerve damage can cause muscle weakness and, in John¡¯s case, paralysis.
