In December 2021, Tyler Bailey ¡ª a police officer from Bradley, Ill. ¡ª sustained a traumatic brain injury in the line of duty.
After nearly a year of intensive inpatient and DayRehab therapy, Officer Bailey recently said goodbye to his Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91 care team as his colleagues escorted him home.

John D. was diagnosed with Guillain-Barr¨¦ syndrome (GBS), a rare disorder in which the body¡¯s immune system attacks the nerves, often without warning. The resulting nerve damage can cause muscle weakness and, in John¡¯s case, paralysis.
