A Million Dreams at ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91

Body

Just a year after our new research hospital opened, we have already begun to revolutionize rehabilitation for patients like Colton and Anastasia with our new translational care model.

Colton, a farmer from Indiana, was in a semi-on-semi truck collision. With a wife and 2-year-old son at home, Colton¡¯s goal is to get back to the farm with his family.

Anastasia, a 2-year-old twin, was never supposed to leave the hospital after she was born. With a rare genetic condition, she has been receiving specialized therapy at the Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91.

¡°We are at the right place at the right time,¡± said Dr. Richard L. Lieber, Chief Scientific Officer. ¡°We¡¯ve got scientists, doctors, therapists, vision and leadership that can take scientific discoveries and make them help our patients. A lot of people have a piece of the puzzle but what they¡¯re missing is that functional collision amongst all those people.¡±

See how our vision came to life.

Let's get connected.
