Climbing is an activity that can be easily adapted to any ability level for people with physical impairments. The adaptive rock climbing program provides opportunities for people with physical impairments to enjoy the sport of climbing by providing instruction and adaptive climbing gear to help each individual reach new heights.

The program meets on Monday nights from 6¨C8:30 pm at the following locations:

  • Outdoors 
    • ´³³Ü²Ô±ð¨C´¡³Ü²µ³Ü²õ³Ù: Maggie Daley Park (337 E. Randolph St., Chicago, IL, 60601)
  • Indoors 
    • °¿³¦³Ù´Ç²ú±ð°ù¨C´¡±è°ù¾±±ô: First Ascent Avondale (3516 N. Spaulding Ave, Chicago, IL 60618)

Adaptive climbing is a collaborative program between Shirley Ryan ³Ô¹ÏÌìÌÃ91, Adaptive Adventures, and the Chicago Park District.
